You can bulk import and export products and their digital assets. However, TruPIM is not a robust DAM platform. If you need to manage non product assets, version and secure assets, enrich asset metadata, setup asset workflows, or CDN capabilities, then you must consider acquiring a robust DAM tool. We recommend using our partners Widen or Mediavalet. TruPIM has built-in Connectors to Widen, Mediavalet, and Canto DAM platforms.
TruPIM can serve as a light-weight Feed Management tool. You can manage all product data centrally and generate channel specific product feeds. These feeds can be generated and downloaded via the UI and also made available via a URL. Additional work may be needed to further optimize these feeds or push them into digital marketplaces via APIs. Either we or a 3rd-party can provide those services.
However, TruPIM is not a robust Feed Management tool. If you need advanced feed optimization and syndication (including API based integration) capabilities, you should work with specialized feed management tools. We recommend using our partners Feedomics, Productsup, or ChannelEngine, or any other feed management tool of your choice.
With TruPIM, you don’t need to procure servers or IT support to manage those servers. Go to TruPIM dashboard. View your user profile, then go to “My Account”. You should see “General properties” and “Password” tabs. Change your username and password via those tabs.
